What are Aid and Attendance benefits?
Aid and Attendance or Housebound benefits are monthly payments that veterans or surviving spouses or family members who need help with daily activities may be able to receive. These payments are added onto regular monthly pensions from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. To apply, each qualified participant can either send his or her completed form to a pension management center or apply in person at a nearby regional office.

Our senior living community can provide more educational materials about Aid and Attendance or Housebound benefits if you need them. We regularly guide our residents through every step of the process. Our community also holds consistent educational seminars to help veterans better understand how the VA is willing to repay them for their military service. Autumn Ridge Residences itself offers discounts to many veterans as well.
How do we make Missouri veterans’ daily lives easier?
If you are a veteran with a disability, we can provide round-the-clock assistance through our residential care services. Our specially-trained associates can support your daily personal routines and housekeeping needs. They can also prepare nutritious meals, remind you to take your medications, and provide medical care.
We also initiate group activities such as fitness classes, crafts, and games based on each resident’s unique interests. If you need to travel outside of Autumn Ridge Residences, our community also offers scheduled transportation to medical appointments and shopping. However, we know you will want to be back soon to see our beautiful garden and over seven acres of community grounds!
