Keeping Seniors Engaged with Activities at Herculaneum Community

Our Senior Residents’ Activities During Pandemic

Birthday parties, games, and even a shout-out from baseball legend Ozzie Smith make Autumn Ridge Residences a not-so-typical senior living community in Herculaneum, MO.

Seniors above all other age groups may be suffering the most from the COVID-19 pandemic. But that does not stop senior living communities like Autumn Ridge Residences from making sure residents keep their spirits up. The community is now offering outside visits with families following the state guidelines of social distancing, wearing face masks, and using hand sanitizer. Small group activities while practicing social distancing are also going on daily such as watching Cardinals games with popcorn and celebrating birthdays with delicious cake delivered safely by our team.

With local partnerships like Joachim-Plattin Emergency Medical Service and others, Autumn Ridge Residences makes sure connections continue to be made in the area. On 9/11, the Autumn Ridge Residences team delivered cards and well wishes to the first responders with all of the decorations made by the residents. In addition, local church Herky/Pevely Baptist Church delivered Bibles for the residents to enjoy. And Ozzie Smith himself congratulated the community on staying safe and healthy during the pandemic.
